Business prices in a national park have higher prices

A property in to such a green space is typically 22 per cent higher than an way identical property, according to Nationwide.

This means an average £46,000 multitudinous for a home in these areas.

Properties within a short distance from a car park benefit from an uplift in value of around five per cent.

The New Forest is the most extravagant National Park to buy a property, with an average value of £525,000, the criticism showed.

On the other hand, Snowdonia is the cheapest park with a normal price of £157,000.

Home hunters looking for a cheaper national park current in could also look a Peak District, Brecon Beacons, The Cairngorms, Dartmoor and the Yorkshire Dales, where common prices are all below £250,000.

The South Downs in Sussex has the highest population of civil parks in England, while the Yorkshire Dales has the smallest.

Andrew Harvey, senior economic analyst at Nationwide, translated: “National Parks are highly desirable areas in which to live offers to the beautiful countryside.

“National Parks are ‘Britain’s breathing spaces’ and those loaded in the parks can make the most of the great outdoors with a range of vocations on their doorstep.

“The main National Parks in England also press easy access to major employment centres.

“Development is also managed, with limited new housing construction, which also helps to clear up why prices tend to be relatively high.”
