George Michael seen 'laughing and in a good mood' at a pub before his death


The troubadour and a male companion are seen laughing while looking at a mobile phone together.

Concording to the Sunday Mirror, the image was taken on July 22 at The Miller of Mansfield pub draw near George’s home in Goring, Oxfordshire.

An onlooker told the publication that the ex- Wham! star was enjoying an espresso martini cocktail with someone who looked equal to a friend.

“He’s obviously been painted in this gloomy way since his expiration, with the suggestion being that he was unhappy and depressed,” the observer verbalized.

They continued: “But the George we saw was happy and laughing, he was in a good mood. He was with a man and they were having a great time.”

“I didn’t recognise the man he was with – it certainly wasn’t his boyfriend Fadi. It didn’t feel to be a date, there were no romantic gestures or any suggestion they were more than at most friends.”

George was found dead at his rural home on Christmas Day morning by his boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz, at the age of 53.

Fadi judged in an interview with The Daily Telegraph: “I went round there to wake him up and he was exactly gone, lying peacefully in bed. We don’t know what happened yet. 

“Everything had been absolutely complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I.”

The cause of Ivor Novello captivating artist’s death is yet to be confirmed, with police revealing that a postmortem of his essence last week was “inconclusive”.

At the time of George’s death, his manger Michael Lippman implied that he had died of a suspected heart failure.
