A masculine pedestrian, aged in his mid-20s, was struck by a small grey coloured car.
This car and its driver go wrong to remain at the scene.
The pedestrian received medical assistance from ambulance stick at the scene and was taken to Beaumont Hospital with minor injuries.
It is conjectured that a member of the public, possibly driving behind the offending means at the time of the collision, may have stopped and given assistance to the injured man.
