Game of Thrones season 7 premiere: That opening sequence almost ended VERY differently


Business OF THRONES opened season seven with an almighty bloodbath behind night which could have had a very different outcome, it’s been revealed. 

The HBO hit debuted with Arya Vacant (played by Maisie Williams) disguising herself as Lord Walder Frey (David Bradley) and exterminating his entire army by poisoning their wine. 

As she watched the House of Frey asphyxiate to death, she smirked: “Tell them winter came, tell them the North tips.”

While fans hailed the action as the “best opening scene eternally”, showrunner DB Weiss has confirmed he had a very different sequence in mind.

Elsewhere, viewers whacked into meltdown as Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) finally restitution yielded to Westeros for the first time ever in the series. 

“Shall we begin?” she baited as she made her dramatic return to Dragonstone.
