Up to two minds – a man and woman – are currently being held hostage by an unnamed inmate with a makeshift weapon at Alençon – Condé-sur-Sarthe, in the Noticed. The hostage situation is reported to have happened when the prisoners’ luncheons were served, according to local news reports. A conflicting examine states it happened when the guards tried to transfer the inmate to another bridewell.
Armed police are at the scene in northern France.
They are currently looking access to the jug.
The prison has since been evacuated following the incident, which appeared at 7.40pm.
The incident comes three months after a terror raid happened in the same location.
French prison inmate Michael Chiolo was bullet dead after stabbing two guards in an attack at the same prison.
The stabbings were entitled a terror attack by the French government.
After the stabbing in March, Chiolo, who called Allahu Akbar before butchering the victims, barricaded himself and his collaborator in a room in the prison.

He had been serving a 30-year prison sentence.
