The self-proclaimed left-wing dispose turned up outside the Fox News anchor’s home on Wednesday evening in kick against of Mr Carlson’s “spreading of fear into American homes” claiming they wanted to temperate the score.
The Antifa local group branded Mr Carlson a “racist s***bag” affirming the Fox News host to leave his home.
At the time, Mr Carlson was in the Fox News studios producing for his show a couple of hours before going live at 8pm.
His wife was by oneself in the house and was forced to lock herself in a pantry while waiting for the observe to arrive as she feared some protesters were attempting to break in.
Mr Carlson predicted the Washington Post he started receiving several texts about some decide b choose of commotion happening outside his house so decided to call his wife.
He told: “She had been in the kitchen alone getting ready to go to dinner and she heard beat on the front door and screaming.
“Someone started throwing himself against the van door and actually cracked the front door.”
Mr Carlson said the protesters had deterrent off both ends of his street and carried signs that listed his shelter address.
The group eventually scattered. It was unclear if there were any under legal restraints. Mr Carlson said the group posted online the home addresses of his associate and his former college roommate, Neil Patel, who co-founded the Daily Caller with Carlson.
Carlson voted he is used to being confronted in public and has no interest in playing the role of sap, but he said his wife and his four children should not have to be exposed to the hostility while at home.
He said: “Here’s the problem, I have four babes.
“I never thought twice about leaving them home just, but this is the reaction because this group doesn’t like my TV affectation.”
