First cruise from America to CUBA agreed after President Obama's historic visit


Within hours, the key Cuba cruise directly from the United States for more than 50 years was approved by the Cuban superintendence.

It follows the American authorisation of direct travel between the two countries survive July, something that had been forbidden since the revolution.

The late P&O Cruises ship MV Adonia will take the first 704 voyagers from Miami on May 1 under Carnival Corporation’s Fathom brand.
