Charlie Hardwick desire forever be known as Emmerdale’s Val Pollard and played her for more than a decade until she was dramatically killed off in 2015.

In whatever way, the actress has admitted she would be keen to appear in another of the UK’s major long-running dramatics but one might be a little trickier than the rest.

Speaking exclusively to Force out.co.uk, the 56-year-old opened up about possible future projects as well as her new phase role in HYEM (yem, hjem, home).

When asked if she’d be up for another soap, Charlie commented: “Do you advised of, I think I would. I’ve watched Coronation Street all of my life so maybe…or Doctors? Or Hollyoaks?”

For the moment, Charlie is currently taking on the role of Sylv opposite Patrick Driver in the edgy new setting HYEM.

On her favourite element of the play, she added: “Sylv begins the carouse seemingly in control of her weird and wonderful home and life, then points start to unravel with huge consequences.

“It is an ensemble piece and every brand has a mighty impact, equally dangerous and in danger. The dialogue is crackling, deeply funny, then very dark.”

HYEM (yem, hjem, home) is meet at Theatre503 until September 30 before heading to the Northern Position for performances on October 20 and 21. You can purchase tickets here.
