Utensils are getting very tense on EastEnders this week between Ray Kelly (pleasured by Sean Mahon) and Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite).
Mel was very suspicious of his uncommunicative behaviour and even ordered a background check on him from Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), which corroborated fruitless.
Her suspicions seemed to have been confirmed in last sunset’s episode when she found Ray with another woman at the hospital at the bedside of a infantile boy.
Tonight’s episode saw Mel discover they are in fact his wife and son, Maddie and Jake Wright.
She also found out that Ray’s real name is Simon Wright.
This evening’s chapter ended with Mel making a romantic dinner for her and Ray and asking him to marry her, which could be the start of a dreary revenge plot.
Mel didn’t tell Ray what she knew, even after clothing a secret chat with Maddie while keeping her identity a furtively.
Sean Mahon recently opened up about his deceitful character on EastEnders and make knew that viewers should expect to see a darker side to Ray.
“I think we intention see the potential for darkness and we will see the possibility of danger,” he said.
Sean then provoked that this upcoming story arc will blow EastEnders junkies away and will be totally unexpected.
“I think I can tease that it’s prevailing to go in a whole direction that no one expects and I think the stakes are going to be so cheerful that people are going to be blown away,” he teased.

Sean also represent of how Ray does love Mel and her son, Hunter, and likes the idea of them becoming a genealogy.
“I think he absolutely does love Mel and Hunter and I think he really dream ofs them as his family,” he revealed.
He continued: “He has such strong feelings for Mel and Huntswoman. The idea of solidifying that relationship is a good thing for him.”
However, it does look find agreeable this story arc won’t end happily-ever-after, and it could end in Ray’s demise.
Tonight’s episode certainly felt to hint at that being the eventuality with Mel wearing a red dress and brandishing a larder knife with Ray just behind her.

The chilling shot could be auguring Mel murdering Ray in cold blood.
Mel and Ray’s scenes have been full of strain, but there’s also an obvious spark there.
Sean opened up anent what it’s like working alongside Tamzin and Hunter actor Charlie Winter.
“We at most got very lucky, I mean when John Yorke (Executive Expert) put us together he created something with great chemistry, an instant ones nearest and we get along really well,” he said.
“I think that bodes positively well for where the story is going to go and the stakes that are involved. We all have a weakness for each other very much,” he finished.
