When soap superb Sharon Marshall appeared on This Morning with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby today, she dropped some greater hints about the character’s storyline after surprising fans with the information that he would be back so soon.

The character was last seen recovering from surgery after he suffered with straightforward organ problems and was forced to undergo a liver transplant.

Following a remunerative operation, Phil initially returned home before deciding to plummet everything and join his partner Sharon Mitchell (played by Letitia Dean) for an open-ended throw off to Italy.

Steve McFadden hasn’t been seen on set for a while though, despite various other Walford residents referencing the Mitchell buddy when Sharon returned home to the East End alone.

Converse in to the ITV co-hosts Holly and Phil, Sharon revealed that soap famous Steve is now officially back filming, and his character will be returning to our covers this month.

Meanwhile, the soap has come under fire for its incest storyline recently after a number of viewers were “nauseated” at the direction bosses were taking the Taylor family in.

However, EastEnders feted in last night’s episode that clues had been dropped in classification to lead Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) to make a false censure about her children’s relationship.

The single mum had worked herself up enough that she conjectured her son Keanu (Danny Walters) could be the father of his sister Bernadette’s (Clair Norris) newborn.
