Noel ‘Duck Egg’ Kirwan (62), a friend of Gerard ‘The Loosely friar’ Hutch, was sitting in a car outside his house in St Ronan’s Drive, in Clondalkin on December 22 termination when he was shot several times. He was the tenth person to die in the Hutch-Kinahan disagree.

Now the Irish Common Star is reporting that this vehicle, a black Ford Mondeo, was torched current last Friday night.

It was the only vehicle damaged in the arson raid.

However sources have revealed that nothing of evidential value was in the mechanism at the time of the incident.

Units of Dublin Fire Brigade were reproved to the station but by the time the fire had been quenched the car was completely destroyed.

A garda spokesman sealed that they are investigating this latest incident.

«Gardaí are exploring an incident of criminal damage at Ronanstown Garda Station on Friday 4th August at 11.45pm,» a account read.

Detectives believe that Mr Kirwan was targeted by the Kinahan misdemeanour cartel because of his friendship with Gerry Hutch.

On May 8 last, 25-year-old Jason Keating of Earlier small Main Street in Rush was brought to Blanchardstown District Court at the beck armed escort charged with the murder of Mr Kirwan.

Detective Sergeant Damian Gannon had told that hark to that Mr Keating made no reply to the charge after caution. Judiciary aid was granted and he was remanded in custody.

There is no suggestion that the man charged during Noel Kirwan’s murder had anything to do with this arson devour.
