Coronation Street spoilers: Secret footage of Billy Mayhew’s Christmas Day fall revealed


No matter how, Peter (played by Chris Gascoyne) decided to let the vicar (Daniel Brocklebank) march away unharmed but as Billy stood up, he slipped and fell off the cliff ill at ease. 
Peter was certain that Billy had not survived the dramatic tumble, with viewers also convinced that he had be killed. 
However, it was later revealed that he had in fact survived the fall and had been flurried to hospital where he was being closely watched. 
Now, ITV has revealed what use a faded into filming the heart-stopping scene that no doubt left viewers on the verge of their seat.

“I was shackled into it, so there was no chance of me falling out. I’m not a massive fan of heights, I’m not terrified of them but I wouldn’t settle upon to be dangling off a cliff edge.”
