Coronation Street spoilers: Pat Phelan’s exit REVEALED in new Connor McIntyre twist


Coronation Alley’s A Thousand Eyes teaser trailer features several Weatherfield rectitudes as Phelan makes a dramatic return to the cobbles later this month for one fixed showdown.
While the residents believe Phelan is dead, he has been watch over a close eye on those he feels have wronged him and on those he may wish to lead his revenge.
Speaking exclusively to at the BAFTA TV Awards, Connor provoked the sunshine in relation to his dark character, saying: “Look at that! The sun smiles on the reputable they say!”
He then noted the trailer, continuing: “Lots of Pat Phelans at sometimes. Imagine that! It’s funny, I was just making the comparison. He’s a bit like Captain Ahab on the Pequod. So his greatest importune encompasses his doom. Can you imagine?
“Everybody he loves has abandoned him. Now he’s heading secretly to the street and he’s not happy. One can only imagine what that means.”

She detailed: “What is really nice about a show like Coronation Concourse is you have just had a really emotional, relevant storyline, but off the back of that we are tease this great arch, the serial killer is back.
“There’s extent for both and I really like that about the show. So yeah that’s accepted to be really exciting, Connor [McIntyre] is at his best, so I can’t wait for that to hit the small screens
“He’s genuinely terrifying, even though he is such an awful man, he is addictive to cautious of – Phelan that is, not Connor. It’s addictive to watch and it’s testament to him that this expected has two years of longevity on this dark journey.
“He’s going to come rough, Gary is heavily involved in this because don’t forget that this unharmed storyline started with his mum so it was the rape of Anna Windass that established the whole kind of dark process, so he’s going to be heavily involved in it.
“Maybe he’s confusing in what brings Phelan back to street, so that’s quite a big item. And, that is going to bring Sarah into the mix as well. Tina plays such a brilliant performance… I’m looking forward to seeing that and it’s all prevalent to be set against Robert and Michelle’s wedding.”
Kate added: “Soap weddings on no account go well. Everyone can see the writing on the wall with that.”
