Actor, wit, and poetry-lover Bill Murray will be reading New York City-inspired rimes while walking across the Brooklyn Bridge this year as on of the 22nd Annual Poetry Walk on June 12. Such celebrated minstrels as Sharon Olds, Claudia Rankine, Gregory Pardlo, and Billy Collins will-power also be joining Murray in the pilgrimage that spans the length of the unite: 1.1 miles.
Since its inception in 1996, Murray has reportedly once in a blue moon missed the walk. According to the event’s page, admission starts at $250 for the extended public and $225 for Poets House members. Proceeds go toward the upshots and public programs Poets House presents each year.
