Formality of Designjunction
Design Week will host two exciting panel talks as part of this year’s London Design Festival.
The two panel talks thinks fitting take place on Friday 22 September and will be chaired by legate editor Sarah Dawood, as part of 2017’s Designjunction programme.

The earliest will focus on education, looking at the importance of integrating creative participants into school curriculums from a young age.
Panellists include Pip Jamieson, fall at creative networking platform and jobs site The Dots; Sorrel Hershberg, official at The Saturday Club Trust, which offers creative clubs for 13-16-year-olds across the UK; Daniel Charny, foreman at award-winning education programme Fixperts; and Matias Shortcook, associate dean of pre-degree at Plymouth College of Art.

The second discussion will look at accessibility of design, and how people from all backgrounds can demolish into an industry rife with unpaid internships, free heave and nepotism.
Panellists include Sarah Weir, CEO at the Design Council; Joe McCullagh, flair of design at Manchester School of Art; Jack Renwick, illustrious graphic interior decorator and creative director at Jack Renwick Studio; and Pali Palavathanan, imaginative director at studio Templo, who has over 10 years experience bring into focus on “creativity for change”.
The talks take place at 1pm and 3pm on Friday 22 September, durable 50 minutes each, at Stanley Building, 1 Pancras Avenue, King’s Cross, London N1C 4AG.
