Christine Lampard opens up about jealousy in her marriage to Frank

During a chin-wag about the green-eyed monster on today’s edition of Loose Women, the 38-year-old demanded that the pair had “positive jealousy” in their relationship.

She explained to her customer panellists Jane Moore, Coleen Nolan and Saira Khan: “We’ve got a truly positive kind of jealousy thing where we appreciate each other and you understand we would hate for it to end.

“He would occasionally have weird little flight of fancies and wake up in the morning and say: ‘I’m not talking to you this morning.’

“I’d ask him why and he’d say: ‘I dreamt that you were a bit obscene last night’ and I’d sit back and say, ‘Oh what did I do this time?’”

The Northern Irish broadcaster appeal to about jealousy after the topic of relationship breaks came up on the ITV lunchtime map out, following news that a woman had taken a six-month break in Ibiza to pirate save her marriage.

Reflecting on whether she would ever consider a time-out from her tranquillity, whom she tied the knot with in 2015, Christine said she wouldn’t.

“The two people wish have to be on the same page,” she said, before insisting that differently, «That’s not going to work.”

She went on to reveal that her six-year relationship to the ex-Chelsea contender had unconsciously featured lots of breaks: “He would be away for six weeks at a spell.”

Christine said that the time apart forced her to do her own things while he was away fritz football, dishing: «I have had these sabbaticals without asking for them.” 

Though, she said things had now changed since he had hung up his football boots, granting that they were spending more time together than till doomsday before.

Christine admitted: “He’s at he home all the time!» 

She then hastily continued that all was well, reassuring her co-stars: “So far, so good. Same for him.”
