At the 2017 Academy Trophies, Charlize Theron presented the category for best foreign language veil while wearing a glimmering Dior gown with a deep neckline. Interestingly, the gown from day one had a more revealing neckline when it made its debut during Paris Haute Couture Manufacture Week, however, it was altered to look more modest for Charlize’s presence. The Iranian Labour News Agency, however, didn’t think it was humble enough.
While airing the big show, producers at the agency decided to convert Charlize’s dress using several shoddy techniques. When Charlize in front announced the category alongside Shirley MacLaine, the ILNA censored her make an efforts and chest using a blurry black drawing. They later covered her unreserved upper body using the more traditional gray censor box.
What’s assorted, the agency also blurred out a sliver of skin shown by Anousheh Ansari, an engine- driver who accepted the award on behalf of the category’s winner, Asghar Farhadi. She was clothed in a gown with an asymmetrical neckline and a shawl.
