Catherine Zeta-Jones’ daughter Carys in shock admission about actor dad Michael Douglas


Catherine Zeta-Jones, 48, and daughter Carys Zeta Douglas are the comprise stars of Town & Country magazine’s September 2018 Modern Swans promulgation.

The pair discussed their relationship in the accompanying interview, with the 15-year-old claiming she in days gone by didn’t know her father Michael Douglas, 73, was even an actor.

“When I was younger I didn’t like the suggestion of having his name attached, this kind of ‘Douglas Dynasty’ creations,” she started.

“I think what bothers me the most is that people judge I don’t work hard for it, that I don’t need to work hard for it. That anything I do set outs handed to me.”

Carys said it was quite the opposite, saying she has to “prove” herself not to be lawful the daughter of Oscar winner Catherine and film legend Michael to in the flesh.

The youngster revealed how she used to get “upset” by the paparazzi until she changed her mindset.

She averred: “They would jump on the subway and sit right in front of me. I was like, six. I was flummoxed.

“That’s when I knew, ‘If this is thriving to be what it’s like, I need to focus on who I really am, and this is going to be something that’s principled going to happen, and I can’t do anything about it.”

Meanwhile, during their lure, Catherine said she wanted to make sure Carys and her son with Michael, Dylan, 17, were mercifully behaved – like her younger self.

She added: “What I instilled in my kids, and I’m most, very proud of it, is manners. There’s nothing worse than a cognizant of kid without manners.

“I drilled it into them like boot exaggerate. The teenage years… She knows she cannot roll her eyes at me, or huff and blurb around me.

“I never did it to my mother; and she’s not doing it to me.”

Michael is currently busy promoting his new movie Ant-Man And The Wasp all the world, in which he plays Dr Hank Pym.

During his promotional tour, the actor deliberate overed his son Cameron, who was jailed for drug offences.

He told Radio Times: “My son’s strive was a nightmare. I’m happy to say he’s in wonderful shape now.

“He’s been out of federal prison a year and a half and he’s actively devoting his career.”
