California wildfires: Is it safe to travel to Los Angeles? Are flights still happening?


California wildfires keep spread throughout the state, with the Thomas Fire hitting the within an eyelash ofs of Ojai, Carpinteria and Fillmore. 

The fire has at present already burnt through 90,000 acres of land, and continues to rages.

Compulsory evacuation notices have planned been issues for Santa Paula, Ventura, Casitas Springs and Ojai Valley.

Yet voluntary evacuation warnings have been issued for Carpinteria east of Bailard Avenue.

California wildfires: Specifics have been forced to evacuate the region

Delta Airlines enjoy confirmed on Twitter that no flights are affected as of yet, stating: “At this days the California fires have not impacted flights.”

Southwest Airlines acquire advised customers to keep an eye on any travel updates: “W’re not planning on delaying or countervailing any flights, though it’s possible we may issue a Travel Advisory later.”

Hawaiian Air is disregarding reservation change fees for passengers travelling to or from Los Angles for any escapes booked from Wednesday to Monday.
