BREAKING: Police rush to US university campus amid reports of gunshots


Disciples and staff at the University of Nevada’s campus in Las Vegas (UNLV) were goaded to “stay inside” and “secure doors” by authorities following reports that gunshots had been advised.

The incident reportedly took place near the Public Safety edifice at the Harmon entrance between Swenson and Maryland Parkway.

According to researches, two cars entered the UNLV campus at 10.20am local time (6.20pm GMT) once the driver in the trailing vehicle fired shots at the lead car.

No injuries prepare been reported and the vehicle that allegedly fired the shots has formerly larboard the campus.

Police have now confirmed the UNLV campus is secure.

Summer arranges are currently in session at the campus. Students received messages via text, email, and grind apps about the incident and were advised to take any necessary shelter precautions.
