Supervise have notified the family of missing fisherman Dr Robert Allen

Control have notified the family of missing fisherman Dr Robert Allen after the recognition although he has yet to be formally identified.

Dr Allen, 30, was fishing with prepubescent brother Charles when they were swept off rocks into the sea at Treyarnon Bay wellnigh Padstow, Cornwall last Monday.

A major search was launched and Charles, 21, was pulled from the open-handedly and airlifted to Royal Cornwall Hospital but couldn’t be revived.

Dr Allen was not located in defiance of extensive searches by police and rescue teams.

A member of the public called the emergency services just after 8am, who reclaimed a body from Constantine Bay near Padstow.

His family have been up to date of the latest discovery and formal identification will be carried out shortly.

The colleagues, from Bristol, were holidaying with family in Cornwall when the upset happened and had been fishing many times before.

Anthony and Margaret Allen, facetiousmaters of the brothers, paid tribute last week saying: «Our sons were auspicious, kind, intelligent, loving brothers and we are in a state of shock at what has happened.
