Yet one man took it to the next level when peripatetic in Australia
Instead of checking in any luggage, he instead decided to check in a lone can of beer when flying from Melbourne to Perth.
It appears some people desire go to extreme lengths for a simple can of beer.
The man, who was flying with Qantas, attempted to try out the take in after colluding with a fellow worker at the airport.
The can of Emu Export lager ended up on the baggage demand amongst the other suitcases.
Luckily the airport staff appeared to be struck by a sense of humour after the lonely can of beer made it through with its gear tag.
It’s also a great way to escape the airport liquid restrictions.

The man, who identified himself severely as Dean, told Unilad the story: “My mate works at the airport and we hatched the down as a laugh — I half didn’t expect it to come out the other end.
“But when it did, it was sent out satisfactory in front of the other luggage so the baggage handlers obviously appreciated it.
“Safe enough there she was, alone on the carousel, proudly making her way around.
“I half had to find it empty, but if it didn’t turn up I’d have filed a lost paraphernalia report.”

It’s not the only prank recently played at an airport.
With a simple fake plug sticker, he aimless up confusing some poor holidaymakers.
The other fliers certainly aren’t as occupied.
